LOGO DEVELOPMENT 

 => so i tried the whole like making different parts of him different colours, and also an outline that could like fill up with colour like mel suggested, and i also drafted up another idea i had which basically takes what we have been thinking of an applies it wider so it can be used on any news/tweet and not just trump related, really simple set of symbols that are only slightly variated as though they are part of one logo and they could be next to articles and tweets to indicate whether it has credible sources and info, could be a really useful tool



= millie = the symbols work better in context but feel like as an original idea the trump ones are better
=tom = Was experimenting with different tones of orange , contrasts better and its the same blue from his campaign logo


= the symbols we will quickly have to like make a way for them to look more designed / unique / considered
= symbols system kinda already exists
= I like the new ones
= like I don't think it needs to be adaptable to all news stories at this point like it can just be a tool for the current election?

= if we were actually gonna take it further we would produce more symbols for general news use
= symbols of tick, cross etc feel overdone but are simple and effective
= the faces are more interesting especially put into contexts

= New traffic lights ? Outlines are a bit ugly and toms blue ones i like but agree with leon that it’s quite hard to see the skin colour change

VIDEO DEVELOPMENT

= Alike to the video which showed different news clips of trump's impact on the world, but with this new symbol present
= As the background images/clips get increasingly worse in the level of negative impact Trump has, the logo will shift colour from green to red



Development in video 

= placement of face should be in same place
= if there is already an element of change in the face this should remain as the only change for consistency 
= should be just in the middle large or in the bottom right (the focus or in the layout it would be on tv or in videos online) 




= maybe it could function like adblock so it being an app or website add on that checks the credibility of all news articles for sources
called like TrumpBlock or FAKE NEWS!


= EXAMPLE of how the logo could work on online news platforms 








= The logo is placed in a way that feels seamless with the original layout of each digital platform 
= can be ignored but can also be seen if chosen by the viewer (not invasive)

= Simple with the colours coming from the Trump logo for focus on this main visual 
= Bold sansserif type

= perhaps it doesn't make sense to have them though like yeah those quotes but maybe as subtitles with a screenshot of the debate, or on like a facebook video, a tweet
= i think it needs to show the logo in context more otherwise its just quotes
= the overall presentstion could have a more political debate aesthetic





= Mixture of sans serif bold modern type with serif tradition type 
= Presents the important conservative, traditional side of America with the presentation of a new hopeful modern future  
= Dark blues and red with stars 
= If clash with logo colours some slides could be white backgrounds
= As long as there are three consistent interchangeable characters

Identity EVALUATION

Alike to GAIA EXRTH, it was disappointing not being able to complete the brief within the timescale set out. I recognise that I like working a lot on passion projects and pushing them further and further, to the point that perhaps the goals I set are unrealistic or I spend too long on one level/area of the project. In this case this was a research brief and I set out to spend a lot of time doing research and testing ideas. I found this a more difficult brief to do within the covid landscape and felt less inspired, as I wanted to go out into the world and look at things, ask people, visit places and so on. This meant this project took a back seat and by the end of the year revisiting it so late on meant there was no time to fulfil the visions I had for the project. It's exciting however to have so many projects I'm interested in to be continuing after uni as it means I can keep the momentum up of designing and producing more ideas and more work. PPP Task 1 Research

  LAYOUTS and UX I've noticed design studios use for their sites: 1. Simple white layout or black and white layout, sans-serif bold text, no specific logo or style present, scroll down box images of each project 2. Introductory logo used as image window or general logo, interaction leads into actual site  3. More interesting layout utilises UX more and guides the user through the different areas with seamless arrows  4.
