- model feedback of patches

Questions

= Is there enough branding design development for full marks?

= Should I change the packaging to align with how the patches developed to be bigger?

> considering how your design work can be applied across different formats and sizes

= Should I explore more packaging ideas or is producing this one idea through research sufficient?

> Important thing to have is strong justification for choices made 

> Acknowledge how I came to this conclusion 

> Design boards will present this logical narrative 

> As a pointer for the assessor to navigate blogs

Essay

> Theoretical ideas of gender will justify critiques of existing work 

> CASE STUDIES of how some brands attempt to create gender inclusive products and clothes but end up producing androgynous outcomes which don't appeal to everyone 

TO DO

- Order two different sized patches at digital print 

- Order Larger square plastic sleeves 

- Put these together with stickers and patches and scan for presentation 

- Branding essay paragraph

- Intro and Conclusion

Identity EVALUATION

Alike to GAIA EXRTH, it was disappointing not being able to complete the brief within the timescale set out. I recognise that I like working a lot on passion projects and pushing them further and further, to the point that perhaps the goals I set are unrealistic or I spend too long on one level/area of the project. In this case this was a research brief and I set out to spend a lot of time doing research and testing ideas. I found this a more difficult brief to do within the covid landscape and felt less inspired, as I wanted to go out into the world and look at things, ask people, visit places and so on. This meant this project took a back seat and by the end of the year revisiting it so late on meant there was no time to fulfil the visions I had for the project. It's exciting however to have so many projects I'm interested in to be continuing after uni as it means I can keep the momentum up of designing and producing more ideas and more work. PPP Task 1 Research

  LAYOUTS and UX I've noticed design studios use for their sites: 1. Simple white layout or black and white layout, sans-serif bold text, no specific logo or style present, scroll down box images of each project 2. Introductory logo used as image window or general logo, interaction leads into actual site  3. More interesting layout utilises UX more and guides the user through the different areas with seamless arrows  4. Either all the outputs are seen together collectively small, or they are large, independent, you have to scroll/click through to get to different briefs  STUDIOS that produce work I'm interested in: YES — Featured - Mostly do site designs and UX which is something I have only touched on - But their aesthetic and direction is really similar to where I would picture myself going, feels very artistic, has touches of fine art there rather than other studios which feel extremely one dimensional graphic design, super commercial branding  - Work with lo...
