Practical crit Presentation + Presentation Research and Reflections

Questions for Crit

= How to present small and large packaging when it involves physical scans and digital?

= Creation of simple, transparent packaging works successfully in response to primary research on the brand and target audience

= Feels under developed and unrefined

= Presentation also doesn't work, bright pink shouldn't be the main colour of the background but it is difficult to change digitally with transparent packaging

= Need to research packaging and product presentation and rescan products with colour appropriate to brand (yellow?)

East London Liquor Company Presentation

- what really works in the presentation of the east london liquor company is that the products are presented through a real life lens, eg. crumpled cans on a radiator

- They are all physical as well rather than digital (which I think is important for on the loose as it is a tactile product and all about texture and clothing)

- Can easily paint the logo down on white paper and lay on some of the patches and have hands interacting as part of presenting this tactility and hands on approach for the consumer when using the product

- Still have stickers as well from the packaging that could be placed in various contexts for the photography

- packaging with patches on top of clothes in good lighting picture to show how the product can be used on clothes in same image

- more animations for insta, eg. moving stickers on top of logo (stop motion photography of patches on top of hand drawn logo?)

- showing the publicity of the brand in other contexts as well other than social media is also important as this is one strong way that it would reach the target audience (similar to inspiration from graffiti throughout project and how the target audience are very much involved in this scene)

- Get large posters printed off? Could print at uni printers keep it cheap and do tiling of smaller prints to larger poster
