> Drop of Barbican project and replaced with Preternatural Publication 

> Barbican project more difficult without all the materials from last year when project was started due to loss of photos and work on laptop when it broke 

> Work on research project idea? So far just identity, perhaps start research into this topic to see whether it has substance to continue?

> Possible avenue for sin publication to be research project but as it relies on flaky collaborator it may not be possible to not have a distinct end goal in site for them to work towards 

> D&AD is now important to reserve focus time for and to do well as it's linked to Refinery29 and there are connections for sending my portfolio to them for an internship 




NEXT FEW WEEKS 

> Focus on getting the lockdown magazine designs on the way 

> Work on Futuristic Y2K posters once Lina has the photos ready, for now research has been done on this 

> Some research on D&AD to get the ball rolling? 

> Look into identity for research project

Identity EVALUATION

Alike to GAIA EXRTH, it was disappointing not being able to complete the brief within the timescale set out. I recognise that I like working a lot on passion projects and pushing them further and further, to the point that perhaps the goals I set are unrealistic or I spend too long on one level/area of the project. In this case this was a research brief and I set out to spend a lot of time doing research and testing ideas. I found this a more difficult brief to do within the covid landscape and felt less inspired, as I wanted to go out into the world and look at things, ask people, visit places and so on. This meant this project took a back seat and by the end of the year revisiting it so late on meant there was no time to fulfil the visions I had for the project. It's exciting however to have so many projects I'm interested in to be continuing after uni as it means I can keep the momentum up of designing and producing more ideas and more work.
