SEND NUDES Animation

> Experiments in pixelating nudes, keeping backgrounds of bedrooms to give context of the nude selfies 

> Pixelated type with nude colour to make the type reflect the pixelated bodies? 

> Images where the pixelated body works well with the background are more successful, difficult to pixelate to a certain extent before it becomes distinctive from the background and separate, but not enough and it doesn't present pixilation

> Matching aesthetic and objects from the photos with background additional image eg. green cupboards 

> Feels complicated though and messy with the layering

> Could I pull out items from the image in a different way? 


> Background creates depth but black has little relevance to subject or aesthetic, blue screen provides more digital feel like last gif, but have to make sure this doesn't become a constant theme unless decided on by Joely 

> Playing with interaction between type and background and images through colour, allows the text to be lost and found when there is a nude, creates connection between the two elements 




> If we could do this on the website of having the user be able to move around images to reveal the text send nudes, this would be the desired outcome however I think for more simple websites I will have to produce videos presenting this idea/effect 

> Wanted to present the different normal day to day items around the environments of people taking nudes that point out to the viewer the sense of boredom and the mundane nature of nude taking during lockdown, doing it day after day in isolation 

> Video development and looping shows this journey young people had in moments of loneliness and sexual frustration stuck in their bedrooms
> Sends nudes for entertainment, mundane nature of just being stuck in your bedroom, snacks, get bored again, watch porn, cup of tea and read a book, get a sext from an ex and so it goes on 


> Combined video of this to present this continuous repetitive narrative feels somewhat separate still and different in speed and therefore tone
> Generally the idea is there however and could be polished 



> Fun, playful, colourful 
> Aesthetic still digital and with pixel art as consistent with other designs and discussion with Joely 
> Could be animated - can see them rotating round and opening up to the article of tips and tricks

Identity EVALUATION

Alike to GAIA EXRTH, it was disappointing not being able to complete the brief within the timescale set out. I recognise that I like working a lot on passion projects and pushing them further and further, to the point that perhaps the goals I set are unrealistic or I spend too long on one level/area of the project. In this case this was a research brief and I set out to spend a lot of time doing research and testing ideas. I found this a more difficult brief to do within the covid landscape and felt less inspired, as I wanted to go out into the world and look at things, ask people, visit places and so on. This meant this project took a back seat and by the end of the year revisiting it so late on meant there was no time to fulfil the visions I had for the project. It's exciting however to have so many projects I'm interested in to be continuing after uni as it means I can keep the momentum up of designing and producing more ideas and more work. PPP Task 1 Research

  LAYOUTS and UX I've noticed design studios use for their sites: 1. Simple white layout or black and white layout, sans-serif bold text, no specific logo or style present, scroll down box images of each project 2. Introductory logo used as image window or general logo, interaction leads into actual site  3. More interesting layout utilises UX more and guides the user through the different areas with seamless arrows  4.
