Me No Pause is a movement made to educate and empower. Society does not present us with enough great aspirational menopausal individuals, and too many groups of people are unaware of the impact menopause can have on individual's lives. The power of our bodies and what comes with this experience should also be celebrated; there are many ways in which this period of life can empower and bring great change. There are as many types of menopause experiences as there are types of people, with each experience individual to each person. This movement is designed to reflect this diversity, with a range of bold modern typefaces and vibrant colours. It is designed to be loud, to break taboos and create presence for change.

I love the brightness, the colour, the movement in it and the overall tone is upbeat and positive which I respond to - I love the vibrancy. For me, it moves a bit too fast, I'd have liked a bit more time to dwell on the messages and images - I think that is my age. I didn't grow up with the visual speed that is common in today's media. I know from my own experience as a radio producer it's a challenge to get the pace right and judgement of it is quite subjective.
Overall I love the liveliness of it.

Absolutely AMAZING!!
It’s inspired and fast and snappy and dense with info and arresting images.

- Low ambient background music could work really well to create an atmosphere, something that feels uplifting but not too cheesy
- LOVE how you’ve approached the visual editing with the text quotes interspersed with clips from TV shows and stock clips, feel very professional and quite like a documentary in how it’s paced
- Voice over is really strong in terms of how it’s written and delivered, great choice using Joely, but the sound mixing between when you can hear the voice over and other clips is jarring, background music definitely would’ve helped level it out I think
- Towards the end the pacing of the visuals feels very rushed like some stuff goes by so fast like showing the Instagram profile and the website and the text posts, not long enough to really take it all in, especially when compared with how weighted and well paced the voice over is
- Brand is strong throughout with how you apply the type and colours and how consistent your approach to the editing is, perhaps could’ve had elements of animation in some of the overlaid type to relate more to the Instagram posts you designed
- After watching it 3 times it really is the background music that I think is missing to bring it altogether, I think with that added it would feel even more professional, but overall you have done a great job on making it feel professional, serious in tone but positive and uplifting, slightly comedic but still empowering, you have just nailed the tone in the editing, visuals and voiceover really
REFLECTION
> Overall feedback from individuals interviewed at start of process really positive
> Tone, vibrancy, powerful type and direction appeals strongly to them which is important as they are part of the target audience which would normally not find this more modern colourful approach as appealing as younger generations
> Speed of design section pops up as a problem to peer and interviewee which I agree is too fast, and perhaps even more cutting could have been done at the start section to allow this to be slowed down more
> Peer idea on utilising type treatment used in identity of movement at the start of the video more is definitely something I would have done if I had had more time, and was attempted quickly with the more simple type already there
