> With theme of traffic lights manipulations of traffic signs will create this aesthetic of fear and control 
> Gradient overlay not successful
> Pixilation of signs more successful in creating digital manipulation and sense of distortion for fear 
> More successful manipulation is tiling effect which segments sign into pieces 
> Screen layer effect creates this interaction between this broken sign and background, giving digital feel without being too obvious 





> Road signs formatting for article text to create that sense of urgency and control throughout in design and for consistency

> Interaction between all different layers means transporting that to website will be more difficult in wanting to animate them as well 

> Could there be more of a digital feel?? Gives fear and control aesthetic but does it suggest digital?

> Outer glow not translated fully after exporting between photoshop and after effects to create a transparent gif 
> Export video and transfer to gif online instead of photoshop? 
> videos cannot be exported as transparent through adobe media encoder, but only encoder can export as mp4, necessary format to change to gif online 
> online transform avi to mp4, mp4 to gif 

> Not compatible on online sources
> Remove outer glow??

Identity EVALUATION

Alike to GAIA EXRTH, it was disappointing not being able to complete the brief within the timescale set out. I recognise that I like working a lot on passion projects and pushing them further and further, to the point that perhaps the goals I set are unrealistic or I spend too long on one level/area of the project. In this case this was a research brief and I set out to spend a lot of time doing research and testing ideas. I found this a more difficult brief to do within the covid landscape and felt less inspired, as I wanted to go out into the world and look at things, ask people, visit places and so on. This meant this project took a back seat and by the end of the year revisiting it so late on meant there was no time to fulfil the visions I had for the project. It's exciting however to have so many projects I'm interested in to be continuing after uni as it means I can keep the momentum up of designing and producing more ideas and more work.
