> After creating video of website navigation recognise there are things that could be done to the site to develop it even further
1 end:
continue, yes, no? graphic
click yes sends back to beginning of website, cyclical of lockdown and romances, click no and it goes black (like screen)?
2 navigation:
could be clearer
despite wanting a free journey and experience for viewer, would I really be satisfied with them missing finding any of the articles?
AUDIENCE FEEDBACK

Love the aesthetic little bit scattered item wise for me but I think that's personal preference
The places to click need to be clearer and once your on those items maybe incorporate a link back
Love the speech bubbles and the little touch me guys
I wanna be able to click on boy tears and have those messages where they're all your gorgeous then they get angry and bitchy
Don't love the story of fear font for the text it kinda hurts my brain to read but might be the separation like the lines are too close together
Also story of fear, maybe just me but my mind instantly goes to the danger side of walking around as a woman. I think its it being a road sign and the recent news coverage but maybe something to think about.
Love the tigers
Love the pink aesthetic bit
Error code stuff is amazing
Oh but I got an error code right at the start and the only way to exit was the cross like you couldn't click ok or cancel ya know
And I can't click yes or no for continue

u should have a pic that quite sexually enticing to the male gaze and it just directs you to a page that just spams up you horny mofo and justslams up what would your mum say and then loads of pictures of different mums just slam onto the screen

- i love the concept its really cute and cool and very the zeitgeit the blend of sex and the lockdown web design it is very the mood
- i think its really suiting and cool to play on like the tumblr aesthetic and i think the site feels almost like a blog (this could be intentional / taken futher)
- gives almost teen magazine or like victorious if u watched that vibes
- if a random person was on the website would they understand what it is? is it meant to be understood like that?
- i think the element of it being like girl firends and like discussing love in lockdown and stuff is cool and to me that what the website is abt (is it meant to be that if it is could that be made more clear earlier on i think it being friends messasging anf confessing is so core to like how people communicate i think its really suiting to use that and i think it reinforces the intimacy with the persons story but also the digitalness and lack of intimacy
- i think it suits a younger/gen z audience with both its visual style it being a web site and the content
- i like the different ways to interact with the page like pop ups and different pages to go on which have different styles but still feels cohesive
- what does the use of the xxx sex imagery and visual language say about sex and love in the digital world and lockdown?
- i think the purpose or what the page is about can be unclear at first on the xxx one
- i think the xxx page has reli cool visuals and interesting stories but i think like an overall point or message or mood which wasnt just the topic could add to it maybe
- is there naviagtion ways back to the home page once u enter one of the sub pages? if not i think that could add to like the userability abd like navigation
- the aria bit is reli cool i reli like the image making - i think its like intimate but like tells the story but like is a website like i think it works reli well and could even be taken futher love !
- the aria page i love that its a story i think its reli clear and like cute i think all the visuals and photography adds to the mood it feels like personal and digital very like the mood of lockdown
- i think my only thing would be could maybe the visuals have a voice like the visuals are clearly a response to the story but it is not clear who has or is making that response like maybe if the website had more of a brand in the sense of a voice like a logo or like who is the interviewer/artist idk if that makes sense
- i love the mood of like different like girls in lockdowns confessions about like the tribulations of lockdown and i think that could almost be more clear maybe in a manifesto of some form i know there is the messages at the start but i think nobody is saying that from where is coming from and it almost has a narrator like voice or third person which i think goes against the kinda intimacy of the stories which could be a mood but maybe if that element was clear like maybe the message coming from a computer or robot idk
- i really like summer madness i think the story is reli cute and the visual are sooooo cute and nice everything like creates such a mood and its so soft and floral i like how theres still the hink of the sex i think it makes the website more visually and like thematically coherent and super cute
- i like how the home page is like little teasers of the articles
- the covid stuff is interesting i like how it adds to the mood of the moment it reli brings together like the mood
- are the covid stuff meant to be like double entendre for like love and relationships?
- i really like the fear one !!!
- i think as a whole the website is really cool and fun and has an intersting perspective with its promotion of like smoking zoots and sex positivity and i think that clearly extends to the visuals i think this could be taken further maybe by having more of a brand/logo or enforced further by the project itself having a voice or both cus i feel like it would make it more clear like the purpose and also tie in the like message element which is promonent if they were being said to and by someone if that makes sense even if like its a computer or a brand or a person im not sure
PEER FEEDBACK

how you've approached a digital publication is really effective, interaction and motion is really cool
the way you've explored digital love and lockdown love is done really well, the website says 'digital zine' very well
some of the visual languages replicated from some things like the Babestation works really well, the parody and humour is really good
it suits its audience really well, but it feels very feminine and female orientated
it could be really cool to explore more videos and sound?
it feels chaotic, and you feel overstimulated, which is good as it's the point of the site
it's very explorable because you've made it quite dense which is really good, with all the little interactions
my favourite article is joely and the anime one, how they play with visual language, the playing around with gifs and photography is really unique
it feels very original, and there's a good tone of voice throughout. Even though everything is different it all feels consistent and works as a visual system
stop sign tiger one lacked the level of playfulness and fun as the other articles
add a menu button, navigation is difficult and confusing, understand that it's a dimensional space and each user has their own journey but wouldn't you want everyone to see everything that's been designed?
Reflection
>> All feedback coincides with what I recognise to be improvements or possible additions
>> Navigation is definitely an issue, even though I wanted a dimensional space and individual experiences to each user, there definitely could be clearer interactive pointers to enable the user to an easier exploration
>> Felt that the last article on fear was definitely a less developed piece, and was rushed at the end. As a result it doesn't connect to as many viewers as it could like the others
>> Definitely important point on the current news climate around being a woman safe on the streets by Lucy affecting how people may perceive the fear story, not necessarily a bad thing however, interesting reflection of real life perhaps subconsciously I created it this way
>> Great that everyone really enjoyed the website aesthetic and experience overall
