Development 2
> More literal representations of chat bubbles do work better, more obvious what they are representing and therefore better communication on topic to viewer
> Still abstracted through colours and effects
> Wavy type from before felt unstructured and inconsistent, but this bar over the dialogue bubbles doesn't work for dialogue B, unreadable text
> Bar between each bubbles was to connect them and present the descriptions of what occurs within these conversations
> Difficulty in number of hearts?
> Problem is that a lot of games place hard as better option, which contradicts idea of using game layout and language to reflect positivity = easy
> Number of hearts? Visually more positive and relates to number of hearts given to player (more means easier)
> Rather than hearts circles may be more consistent in the visual language so far adopted
> What outputs could these be designed into?
> What would best encourage and engage people into questioning their choices and daily mindset?
> Target audience with this aesthetic has naturally become those who engage with games perhaps or younger people who would find this futuristic digital aesthetic appealing
PEER FEEDBACK
whoa these are wicked !!! I think it works yeah I’m not too sure like what else there would be you’d want to say? like what is the intention behind these again it’s hard to critique them without fully understanding but I can see the story they’re telling and they look fantastic!!
perhaps as a website? or as a video game?
i feel like with that intention it could be more clearly communicated by instead of saying like ‘session’ or ‘game’ but instead saying life and acc treating the visuals like it’s the start screen to life itself
> Wanted to give it a tactile and real life output as well however to transfer this idea to real life, rather than keeping it in the digital sphere and therefore less relevant around real life choices
> Video game therefore too literal and wouldn't communicate the idea as successfully
