Love.jpeg EVALUATION
This was a really fun brief to work on as it was my first collaboration with someone who shares similar values, visions, ideas and aesthetics with me. The discussions were super inspiring, and the beginning of the project started off with a lot of excitement. With the continuation of lockdowns, isolations and personal events for the other designer however the collaboration became very unbalanced which was very frustrating. I recognise that I have a stronger work ethic compared to all people I know, and so it is hard to find someone who matches me on this and makes me feel like there is equal work share. However I learnt important skills by taking on the project myself, particularly with the website design. I learnt how to develop for the foundation of wix, which will be helpful when designing my website, and on designing and preparing assets for this platform. I learnt that this takes a lot longer than I prepared for. This project is also a prime example of how my projects take longer than planned, and although this was partially due to collaboration speed, it's a common theme for me when I'm working on a passion project and want to perfect it. This may not be a bad thing, but I know that if this needed to be done faster it may be a challenge.
Lessons to Remember for Future:
> You can work faster if you work smarter: Prioritise specific elements within the project, choose quality over quantity (eg. did not need that many articles on site)
> Digital Design is fun and can be done with an editorial print aesthetic, a unification of the two spheres through my eyes as a creative
