> Initial laser cuts didn't pierce through board, had to increase settings, but then burned through and created too much soot
> Middle ground worked well
> Laser cutting successful, realised that larger pieces of board would need to be used so that there wouldn't be rectangular border line on the cover when embossing
> Tested laser cutting on these scraps and then used a larger then A3 piece of board to ensure embossing plate was bigger than publication wrap around cover, which is A3
> Two laser cuts created so that the positive space pieces could be glued down on additional board piece
> The negative space cut will then be overlaid on top of these stuck down positive space cut, to create the embossed area wanted

> Others papers may emboss better however and so will test embossing on all sample pages and then proceed with chosen paper stock
