Identity Presentation
> Minimal time to fully developed this project before deadline but will look to developing this into an interactive website that carries the user through different options and to what the end may look like as a result of these choices
eg.
choose your difficulty (user picks hard)
choose your character (user picks angry)
GAME OVER > Your life may be harder to manoeuvre when trying to deal with every day problems you can face. Want to try again?
> Posters on their own work well as the foundation and direction of aesthetic for website
> Could be used later on as physical and digital publicity and as add ons for the website
> Want to present its digital sphere, 3D spinning poster?
> Animation of different coloured textures in each poster?
> Added glow onto poster to enhance the ethereal tone, which is good for creating a sense of new life or something real and changing within a digital space
> Used a lot in games and film to suggest something altering
> Having this glow recede and increase as the poster turns is good for extra detail and feeling of motion
> Could animate all posters if have time?
> Is there purpose in animating them all as turning? Good for presenting one idea but may feel repetitive for others. Detail focus crops on other posters another appropriate way of showcasing design
> What is appropriate in terms of actually encouraging the target audience to question their choices?
> Hard to answer these questions at this stage when I know this will be developed into a website, whereas for now the function at this stage is purely a decorative design one, posters showcasing the aesthetic
> Use of morphing colours from choose emotional status of first experiment works well as background visual
> For future developments I should play around more with this, as it is the most successful element of the tests, as the overlaid colour texture morph well above the soft blur of a form on a black background
> Other tests with the spikey green form not as translatable to a digital feeling animation as the edges stay the same and feel stagnant and less ethereal
> Playing around with adobe aftereffects wave and distortion FX worked well in making these edges change in an appropriate spikey way, relevant to the initial idea of having this form represent the more negative side of a person and their choices
> Unsuccessful as not range of posters within mock up
> Interesting presentation of posters about digital world in a grungy real world context, could this be considered in its development as a game?
> What would the adverts be of such an interactive website?
