Logo Initial Ideas + Patch Scanning

= Testing of painting with a digital logo idea to reflect the process of the illustrations creation  = using both techniques reflects the two different aesthetics seen through research of logo designs of colourful hand rendered (more obvious gender inclusive) and the more monochrome digital  = The bleeding of the pen with the water when attempting to watercolour the letterforms created an interesting melding of letterforms which should be attempted again to see if for an overall logo it may produce an effective logo  = General curvature of letterforms worked well in presenting this idea of freedom and reflects the connotations of the name  = The graffiti aesthetic works well as it instantly presents this notion of rebellion and breaking barriers, but it doesn't necessarily reflect this notion of gender inclusivity (not that this is essential in presenting for this brand)  = Alongside the logo could be a visual logo, simply of a monochrome silhouette of...

Illustrations Production

BRIEF FEEDBACK + ADAPTATION I think this is good and it feels much clearer what you are aiming to produce. I wonder if your proposed deliverables are a bit ambitious for this timeframe. We would expect to see a great deal of work (perhaps including some primary research or co-design methods?) in the development of your brand's visual identity and how this would be rolled out across the various contexts ( labels, social media, shop signage , etc. There is obviously lots of duties involved in directing photo shoots and producing video-based content so be wary of this workload and try not to get bogged down with the basic production duties at the expense of creative development. Also, i think that you can be a bit more specific about your target audience and also more details about your research activities. If you want to use primary methods then what methods will they be?   Brief title / working title On the loose   Rationale: Project ...

Patch Design Development + Collab call

= Like FANGIRL and additional accessories ideas, adapting masks would make the most sense for both the safety of the models in the shoot and for an additional promotional piece within the editorial  = It is also an easy way of applying patches properly, whilst the models' patches have to be applied in a temporary way so that it doesn't damage their own clothes  = could either have patches on, the logo or both  = Some models can wear their own bandanas or scarfs rather than the made masks to show that individuality within the shoot  = For that reason I'll only buy and customise 5 masks (this means buying the transfer paper for dark textiles)  = Instead of buying more things, it would be cheaper and faster to get these masks printed on fabric in digital print, which I can then adapt into bandanas for the models to wear  = Elements from each illustration can be taken and and placed with other illustrations, or taken and scanned individually so that t...

SEX POSITIVE PUBLICATIONS  Pull Out Zine Pull   Out  is a print zine that explores how technology is affecting millennial sex lives.  The zine features 64 pages of original work by emerging millennial photographers, models, and writers with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity, covering everything from web-camming for cash to how porn has rewired how we have sex. "In many ways. For one, it allows us to connect faster and with people who are outside our circle. One important change is in the form of  dating apps . Presently, the digital dating sphere exists as a metaphorical merry-go-round, where one can constantly cycle through different dating prospects. However, this new form of courting strangers has taken away from the depth of real-life experience. I think about the daily back and forth of texts, and how you never really make the other understand or sense your true emotions like through the verbal exchange in a phone call. I think mind-games are a lo...
